Rev. Nathan S. Kortu, Jr. - Senior Pastor

Rev Kortu was born in Lofa County, Liberia. He is an apostolic minister, with over thirty years of experience in ministry work. He holds a license with the United Pentecostal Church. He served as District Youth President in Liberia for about three years. Rev. Kortu was a Sunday School Superintendent in his church in Liberia and later became the National President of the Pentecostal Conquerors of Liberia. He has also served as a national evangelist, teacher and church planner. He is the founder of Apostolic Foundation High School in Monrovia, Liberia. He was appointed in 1994 as Senior Pastor of New Life, where God has continued to use him mightily.

Rev. Kortu is a graduate of Christian College in Stockton, California where he holds a degree in Theology. He also holds a degree in Pastoral Counseling from Criswell College in Dallas, Texas. Our senior pastor is currently working on his master’s degree in Christian counseling.

He is happily married to Minister Dianne Kortu, who is a graduate of Christian Life College. Minister Dianne Kortu holds a Master’s degree in Student Services from the University of North Texas. The couples are blessed with two wonderful children, Jonathan (14 years old) and Alyssa (7 years old).

The couple believes in strong Christian family values. They have helped many families put their relationships back on track, by applying biblical principles. Rev. Kortu is a strong man of faith and courage. Like David in the Bible, Rev. Kortu is a man after God’s own heart and he live the Word of God every day.

Profile of Rev. Francis Ouwa Garteh-Assistant Pastor

Rev. Francis Garteh was born unto the union of Gbinesai & Wawu Tonwon Garteh. He was converted in 1977 and received the Holy Ghost in 1978. As a true servant of God, he has been a part of several ministries and serving in various leading capacities including Fassama where he assisted Rev. Joseph Z. Yarkpai, Christ Temple in Stockton, CA and Christian Life Center in Stockton, CA. He was appointed as an Assistant Pastor of New Life Fellowship in 2002, where he is so delighted to be of service to God’s people.

He completed his education at Monrovia Central High School in Liberia. A few years later, he was granted a scholarship to attend Christian Life College in Stockton California where he holds a BA in Biblical Studies.

While at Christian Life College, he met his friend and beautiful wife, Angela. The Lord has since blessed the couple with two wonderful children: Korlu Tonwon (19 yrs old) and Shiawo Gweh Garteh (16 yrs old).

Still having the desire for the Lord and the ambition for career advancement, he enrolled at the San Joaquin Delta College, where he graduated in 1998 as registered Radiologic Technologist. He is also a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologist (ASRT). Rev. Garteh is a true man of God and daily desires the things of God.
